Don't be scared of little bugs
Or things that creep and crawl,
Not crimson blood nor blackest night
Pale ghosts within your walls
Each slimy fear, each niggling thought
Like maggots eat away
Your sturdy, solid wooden brain,
Leading you astray
But little lamb, don't be afraid
Simple thoughts can't hurt you.
Let friends, not foes, keep you safe
And clean and full of virtue.
